Edward Snowden Testimony to European Parliament Inquiry on Electronic Mass Surveillance

In December the European Parliament’s Civil Liberties (LIBE) Committee planned to send some questions to Edward Snowden as part of its inquiry on electronic mass surveillance of EU citizens. A few weeks ago Snowden confirmed he would address the committee, and today his testimony was released in written form. The testimony is lengthier than Snowden’s previous brief statement to the inquiry last September, and includes answers to specific questions posed by members of the LIBE Committee. It was reported that Snowden may appear via video link, but no video is available as of now. (Will update if video is released)
