Yahoo has released their first global transparency report, which details government data requests from January 1, 2013 through June 30, 2013.
- 29,470 worldwide government requests for 62,775 accounts
- Yahoo disclosed data for 23,163 of the requests
- U.S. leads with 12,444 requests for 40,322 accounts
- More U.S. government requests to Yahoo than either Google (8,438) or Facebook (11,000-12,000)
