In what I can only describe as fame whores, 2 football teammates of the accused rapists in Steubenville appeared on the Dr. Phil show defending their friends, along with one of their mothers, who clearly is mentally unstable.
The mother, Jill, starts crazily ranting about how the town of Steubenville is the victim and how world attention of this is making them unsafe. She continues, bashing bloggers, complaining that everyone is judging the whole town, blah fucking blah.
When pushed to at least admit that the victim could be telling the truth, she couldn’t even do that.
Not once does Jill blame the real culprits, that being the accused rapists, and law enforcement who failed to adequately do their job.
Dr. Phil seems to agree, saying to her “There’s nothing positive if you turn your back on a victim. You can wave the flag of Steubenville or anything else, but if you turn your back on a victim because you want to rally around a friend, you can love a friend without liking everything they do. If in fact they did what they did it’s wrong, they need to be accountable for it, you need to hold them accountable for it, the community needs to hold them accountable for it. If you turn a blind eye to it and say it’s easier to just call her a liar, then you’ve done a disservice to her, to your boys, to your town, to everybody.
Jill, you should probably expect us.
What a great representative for the town. Her photobucket pics are good too-jillybeauty. According to her everyone wants to be “jillicious” when they exit her salon.. Oh boy
She and people like her are the problem, the not my kids.every victim, every offender is someones child. Jeno was friends and teammates with this group that as far as I can tell, openly referred to themselves as the rape crew so for him defend them says a lot about his character as well.
